The Michael Garman Museum and Gallery in Colorado Springs, CO, features Magic Town, a 3,000 square-foot miniature city created by artist Michael Garman. Michael Garman was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and began sculpting when he was eight years old. He later studied fine arts in Chile and settled in Colorado Springs. In 1985, he opened Magic Town, a 3,000 square-foot miniature neighborhood filled with hand-crafted buildings and sidewalk scenes. He later opened the Michael Garman Gallery in Old Colorado City. Michael died of congestive heart failure in 2008.
